Applicant Terms of Service
Last updated: October 17, 2026
Accepting these terms
These Applicant Terms apply in addition to the TrueXHire Terms of Service, and cover every job seeker account on the platform. By applying to jobs or using applicant features, you accept them.
Your information, your control
You choose what goes in your profile and what you submit with each application. Making your profile visible to employers is your choice, and you can turn it off at any time.
When you apply to a job, the information you submit (profile details, resume, answers, cover letter) is shared with that employer so they can evaluate your application. It's used only for that employer's hiring for that role.
Be honest
Don't misrepresent your experience, education, certifications, or eligibility to work. Employers make real decisions based on what you submit — inaccurate information can get an offer or job withdrawn.
No guarantees
TrueXHire connects you with employers — we can't guarantee interviews, job offers, or employment outcomes, and we're not a party to any agreement between you and an employer.
AI features
Our AI features (job matching, resume help, interview prep, message drafting) are aids, not professional advice, and can make mistakes. Review everything before you rely on it. You control your final resume, applications, and messages. See our AI Disclosure for details.
Application status
You can track the status of your applications (received, reviewed, shortlisted, accepted, or not moving forward) in your Applications page. Employers are responsible for their own hiring decisions and timing.
Conduct
Treat employers and other users respectfully. Harassment, spam, fake applications, or scraping the platform can result in account suspension. See our Acceptable Use Policy.
Closing your account
You can close your account and request deletion of your data at any time — see Data & Account Deletion for how it works.
